For rough materials that require high precision, such as parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, there are limited machining partners that can handle only the downstream processes. Casting manufacturers often prioritize finishing their own cast products, making it difficult to process castings produced by others due to precision assurance issues, leading to procurement challenges. The uncertainty regarding material properties and shrinkage of rough materials also complicates the estimation of machining conditions. Karmo Casting owns machining equipment, including 15 five-axis machining centers, and can accept rough materials from other companies for machining after confirming their material and shape. Since we also conduct our own casting, we can accommodate the estimation of machining conditions considering the shrinkage and distortion of rough materials.
